For real. Me and two other idiots are participating in the 2008 Mongol Rally which is a charity road rally (not a race) that covers nearly 1/3 of the globe. To make it more awesome, each team must drive a car with a 1 liter engine OR LESS.
Here is our recently acquired speedster:
Take a moment to admire the awesome-ness of that car!
It's a 1998 Nissan Micra. Did I mention we're driving it to Mongolia? We are.
When we arrive all the cars will be auctioned and the proceeds will benefit local charities.
Here's the catch. We are required to raise $2,000 in addition to the car purchase. The good news is that we've already raised 80% of it. We just need a little more help to reach (SURPASS) our goal. If you could spare $5 or $10 or $100, we would be extremely grateful. We'd even entertain placing a promotional sticker from your website or blog or comic on the rally car. Imagine your logo traveling over 10,000 miles on a green Nissan Micra through countries like Hungary, Ukraine, Romania and Kazakhstan. (Yes, THE Kazakhstan!)
It's something most logos never do, but yours COULD if you donate.

sadly, we can't fit 4 in the car, but if anyone drops out you're frst on the list. with your experience, you'd be an asset to the team. email me if you want to discuss.
